Web projects + Discussion

We're interested in generating and facilitating a platform for text-based projects and essays which extend from and develop the concerns of specific practices. This section provides space for the posting of texts in order to catalyze dialogue, debate and independent writing. We regard this space as a virtual extension of CLUBSproject and invite a multiplicity of contributions.

Texts 03 - 08: Miscellaneous Documents by Elizabeth Boyce Posted in September 2005

An interview-based project initiated by Elizabeth Boyce during multipleMISCELLANEOUSalliances in May-June 2004. These documents have recently been transcribed and have emerged from close discussions between Elizabeth and some of the artists who participated in the event. This project was Elizabeths’ contribution to the multipleMISCELLANEOUSalliances.

"...The project is concerned with ideas as they are imagined, projected and subject to future change, revision, contingency, constraint and explosion. I invited participants to have a conversation with me prior to mMa being staged at CLUBS. These dialogues generated transcriptions which were less concerned with tracing change in a project from proposition to exposition than in effecting the persistence of ideas abandoned, reconsidered or forgotten..."

Text 11: EVERYWHERE + NOWHERE catalogue for Mira Gojak with essay by Andrew McQualter posted April 2006

If you use a Macintosh Computer, after clicking on the link above, the pdf catalogue should open in a new window. It will be too small to read. To increase the size of the screen image, hold down the ctrl button while clicking on the mouse. This will give you the option to zoom in, or even better, open the pdf in 'preview'. You can print the catalogue from here.
